Follow-up meeting on sustainable cruising

Dear all,

Møre and Romsdal aims to be Norway’s most sustainable county. The Ports of Aalesund, Geirangerfjord Cruise Port, Port of Molde, Åndalsnes & Eresfjord, Port of Kristiansund, Smøla & Todalen and destination companies have joined forces to facilitate sustainable cruise tourism. The cruise tourism has great ripple effects and is an important contributor to local businesses. Our goal is to work together with the cruise lines to develop sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions.

Last October we invited cruise lines representatives to a digital roundtable meeting to explore new opportunities to help create a cruise tourism with a small footprint.

Join us in a follow up meeting, where we will address common challenges and opportunities, present suggestions to new itineraries and excursions, and ideas on how to best accommodate for both cruise passengers and the local communities.

The digital meeting will be held on 16th February from 16:30 to 17:30 CET.
